The new Asara Wine Estate & Hotel, member of the renowned Relais & Chateaux Association, opened its doors on the 1st of May 2008 and offers discerning clientele a slice of world class, five star comforts within the heart of the Stellenbosch vineyards. With its 36 stylish appointed rooms and suites, gourmet dining and opulent services – Asara Wine Estate & Hotel is set to become one of the leading tourism destinations in the winelands. The spacious, modern rooms and suites - including the unique 3-storey Honesmoon Suite "the Bell Tower" - are spread between three buildings across the Estate, with each building designed in such a way as to maximize the views over Stellenbosch and the surrounding vineyards and mountains. Our Ballroom, or the large lawn with the amazing views sprawling next to the vineyards, is the ideal venue for your dream wedding, executive conference, product launch or any other celebration. Our team of experienced event organisers can arrange anything that your heart desires, and will ensure that everything will go smoothly.
We also host various events on the estate, including fabulous food and wine pairing evenings, wine lectures with our innovative winemaker as well as sundowners overlooking the dam in our stylish cigar bar.

Our Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 160 people with a dance floor (if you feel like dancing the night away), and 180 without. There is also a large lawn next to the Ballroom where we can arrange a marquee tent that will be able to seat up to 500 guests. If you are looking for a smaller, more intimate affair feel free to utilize one of our smaller restaurant venues - Raphael's, the Bistro & Tapas, or even the Sansibar lounge with its veranda overlooking the stunning mountains and vineyards. The choice is yours...
