How many rooms / beds does your hotel have?
Cavas Wine Lodge has 14 rooms (King Size or twin beds) so a total capacity of 28 people.

Which room(s) would you recommend for the wedding night or honeymoon and what is special
about it?
All of our rooms are truly romantic and with great views of the Andes. Please see a description
Self standing rooms, private with vineyards around it. Close to the main house 50 to 150 yards. Outdoor deck facing West, floor to ceiling window offering stunning views of the Andes. Upstair terrace with chill out mattress and wood burning fireplace. Separate living room flat screen TV, wood burning fire place, King bed, Egyptian cotton Linens, mohair throws from Northern Argentina, spa style bathroom (stone), dual vanity, deep soaker tub, private wc with bidet, indoor and outdoor shower.

When has the hotel been built?
Our lodge opened Sep 30, 2005.

If a couple would spend 7 nights and days during their honeymoon in your hotel
a) which 2 - 5 touristic attractions / excursions in your surroundings would you recommend most?
We are glad to send our Special programmes on request where we detail the best activities in the area. We recommend spending 2-3 nights on Bed & Breakfast basis and add a 4 night programme with activities. So they can both rest from a wedding organization and be active as well.

b) which clubs / festivals / parties / discotheques would you recommend most?
Clubs, bars are in Mendoza area, on Aristides Street. We are half hour drive from there. Our lodge is quite secluded in the vineyards.

c) which weeks of the year usually have the lowest price because of low season?
We offer our promotional rates in July, August and until mid September.

Can you tell us something about the options and capacities to have a wedding reception
(and maybe the wedding dancing party as well) in your hotel?
We do weddings only taking up the whole place (14 rooms) and we can take a reception of up to 35 people. So small weddings. We arrange all what a wedding entails: decoration, menu, music, drink, hairdressers, etc.

Is it possible to have a legal and / or ceremonial wedding at your property (or at a special
place in your surroundings)?
Not legal If married in Argentina but we do have spiritual officers who can do a ceremony in the cellar steps in front of the vineyard.

Can you tell us about prominent people who spent their honeymoon or had their wedding
and / or wedding reception at your hotel?
Our hotel is low key and we have not done famous weddings. We do receive many honeymooners as it is very romantic setting but we cannot provide details on our visitors.

What else is special about your property?
The fact that it is still very unknown and the natural beauty of its surroundings (dirt roads) contrasting with the luxury of materials, staff and service.
