The Westin Roco Ki Beach & Golf Resort, opening in May 2008, promises to quickly become the number one destination wedding site in the Caribbean. Located in the Spanish Caribbean in the Dominican Republic, we are part of a culture that is colorful, passionate, lively, and that embraces close family values and warm hospitality.
The Westin Roco Ki is located in an intimate setting on 2,500 acres, miles away from its nearest neighbor. Unlike any other resort in the Caribbean, our topography includes rolling hills, headlands that sweep into the sea, cliffs, lagoons, grottos, and mangroves, all bordering a three mile long white powder beach that is graced by the crystal clear turquoise sea.
The only difficulty you will have in planning a wedding with us is deciding which of the many unique venues to use. Plan on a little extra time for your photography because the variety of stunning backdrops we offer is unmatched in the Caribbean.
After your wedding, the only place to be after you say "I do" will be our Jungle Luxe Bungalows. For a uniquely memorable honeymoon, our bungalows are also one of a kind in the Caribbean. Built on stilts, with a palm thatch roof, they overlook the ocean. The bungalows offer 800 square feet of luxury; an infinity spa tub, double vanity, canopy king, Westin Heavenly Bed®, The Heavenly Shower, kitchen, two balconies, rich woods, and luxurious linens, plus all the standard amenities for which Westin is famous.
Before or after your wedding, you and your guests can enjoy our world class Westin Signature Spa and our Nick Faldo Championship golf course, or just relax on the beach or in one of our five free form freshwater swimming pools.
WEDDING VENUES
The Westin Roco Ki Beach & Golf Resort offers an unmatched selection of banquet and wedding venues. From our 7,000 sq. ft. ballroom accommodating up to 500 persons banquet style to our Great Lawn for large events, to more intimate settings such as our lagoon-side 2,000 square foot Palapa and our Cliffside Wedding Gazebo which overlooks the beach and dramatic cliffs, to more natural settings in our mangrove jungle, the possibilities are endless. And you can get there in a white Cinderella carriage drawn by a white stallion.
EVENT CATERING AND CUISINES
With six restaurants, four lounges, over 20,000 square feet of banquet space and world renown chefs, we are able to customize a menu that will offer any cuisine you desire. Creativity is our hallmark, and delivery and presentation are our specialties. Especially notable is the rich cuisine indigenous to the Dominican Republic characterized by mild but robust flavors and an incredible variety of exotic seafood. Our Director of Catering is a specialist in customizing events that will be unique to you and exceed your highest expectations. And last but not least, you will be able to work directly with our award-winning pastry chef to create and custom design your wedding cake.
WEDDING SPECIALIST
Our Wedding Specialist will orchestrate every aspect of your wedding, working in concert with every department of the hotel from front desk/reception to catering and outside purveyors. We will provide guidance and assistance in procuring: documentation and licenses, pastors/priests, florists, stylists, decorators, transportation, photographers, and musicians.
