Weddings
The Coral Beach Hotel & Resort is chosen by many for the most important day of their life, their wedding. The resort offers one of the most magical locations with extensive terraces and unrivalled choice of areas for drink receptions and dinners all in the most romantic of settings.
Magical Locations
There are numerous function rooms at the Coral Beach Hotel which can cater for both small and large parties. All rooms are available for private dining and shall be decorated to each individuals style and preference.
Amphitheatre
The Coral Beach Hotel & Resort has its own private amphitheatre located by the private harbour and beach. The amphitheatre creates a special setting for a wedding ceremony or drinks reception, adding that ancient Greek touch to the wedding ritual.
Armonia & Aphrodie Terrace
A venue that turns out to be very popular among wedding couples because of its exquisite view. It overlooks the harbour and bay and creates an ambiance that dazzles everyone in the wedding party.
Odyssey Terrace
A small terrace at the level of reception and main bar that overlooks the bay. The setting is charming and romantic and ideal for small weddings.
All religious weddings and blessings except those performed by an Anglican Priest must be preceded by a civil ceremony. Thus please ensure that all paper work and documentation required is in order. Please refer to Legalities for details.

Ceremonies
There are a number of both traditional and unique venues for wedding ceremonies on the island, from churches dating back thousands of years to lush gardens located on the grounds of the hotel.

Carriages
It is important to travel in style on your wedding day and there are a wide variety of beautifully preserved classic and modern vehicles to choose from on the island.
Horse & Carriage
Horse and carriage rides are very popular and these can be hired to take the bride and groom from the church to their wedding venue or for part of the journey depending on the distance. The newlyweds may wish to hire the horse and carriage for a ride around Paphos harbour after the ceremony and enjoy a priavte moment before the celebrations.
Cars
There are a number of cars on the island that may be hired for weddings. Anything from traditional white Mercedes to the vintage Rolls Royce are available.
Traditional Village Bus or Barney Bus
The traditional Cypriot buses have been kept in fine condition and make an excellent mode of transport for the wedding party.

The Wedding cake plays an important role on the big day and must look as delicious as it shall taste. The Executive chef is always ready for new creations and receipies, always in line with the preferences of the couple to be.
Floral Arrangments
There are numerous florists in Paphos experienced in catering for weddings and special occasions, professinal and reliable enough to recreate your dreams.
Entertainment
The Food and Beverage department can suggest and arrange any style of entertainment to suit any mood. From a string quartet to a three piece band all can be arranged.
Hair Dressers
The Coral Beach Hotel & Resort has its own hair salon run by an excellent team of stylists. We recommend that the bride, bridesmaids and flower girls visit the salon as soon at they arrive at the hotel to make an appointment for the big day and discuss styles and details.
Photography & Video
It is vital to ensure that the person responsible for the photos and video of your big day is professional and experienced to capture each and every special and memorable moment. On request the hotel is able to recommend the right person for the job.

Legalities
All religious weddings and blessings except those performed by an Anglican Priest must be preceded by a civil ceremony.
According to Cyprus law, before the marriage can proceed you must meet the following legal requirements:
• Be resident for a minimum of three working days (excluding weekends, public holidays and the day of arrival) before the wedding day and a minimum of two weeks in total (including permissible excursions from the island during your stay).
• Have valid ten-year passports not due to expire within six months, plus photocopies of all pages relating to the personal information contained therein.
• Each have your own Single Status Statutory Declaration confirming that you are free to get married. These must include your name, address, nationality, religion, passport number and occupation; state whether single, divorced or widowed; that you intend to marry in Cyprus; and be signed and stamped by a solicitor on the document.
• Have the original copy of the decree absolute if divorced and, if Catholic, the original copy of the marriage annulment.
• Have the original copy of the death certificate if widowed. Proof of parental consent if under 18, stamped and signed by a solicitor. Proof of name change by Deed Poll, stamped and signed by a solicitor.
• Birth certificates and or adoption certificates if adopted.
• To avoid disappointment always bring the original documents that are requested above

Wedding Venue
We have a number of locations available within our gardens also our lovely private harbour area can also be chosen as a wedding ceremony venue. The exact venue is best decided once guests arrive here with us and we can have a wonder around with you. The area will be set up with a table for the official dressed with white linen together with white covered chairs for the guests. Depending upon the numbers attending the wedding a set up charge for the area will apply as follows:

Up to 6 guests €100.00
7-25 guests €150.00
26-50 guests €250.00
51-100 guests €300.00
101-140 guests €350.00

Wedding Celebrations
When the couple returns from the wedding ceremony, we have a variety of outside terraces (weather permitting) where you can enjoy some canapés in a style of a finger buffet from our Ambassador’s Break menu. The sit down meal can take place indoors, in a private venue at an additional cost of €350.00 for the venue hire, alternatively outdoor venues are available.

As regards entertainment, depending upon the numbers attending the wedding, our resident DJ and Disco could perform at a cost of €500.00, alternatively guests are welcome to join other hotel guests in our Odyssey Nightclub. (Please note that children under the age of 16 years are not permitted into the nightclub).

As regards the actual ceremony, this can be held in a local church, local town hall or indeed within the grounds of the hotel. This is something that needs to be arranged with the local municipality (this is best done via a tour operator that will offer you a wedding coordinator).
