La Fuente del Sol is a nice and charming Andalusian rural hotel, with the shape of a lovely Cortijo. It is located in the Southern of El Torcal, the first National Park of Andalusia.The hotel is located in a small villa, La Joya, not far away from Malaga and Antequera, where the peace and tranquillity are guaranteed. Its location, 800 meters altitude, allows the visitor to contemplate the beautiful scenery of the inner Andalusia. The karstic landscape, which has its origin in the Jurassic period, is unique and of outstanding beauty. La Fuente del Sol has 14 lovely rooms, a full equipped Spa and several function rooms for meetings and events, as well as an excellent restaurant. Such facilities make this resort the best option for those who seek peace and at the same time, want to feel the difference. The design of the garden and its products: vineyard, tomatoes, melons or the strawberry field… combined with the era –threshing floor- make the hotel a traditional Cortijo. The pond and the trees allow the visitant to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings.

Our Chef, Jesús Guerrero, has created an excellent Mediterranean signature cuisine with the highest quality products, including our own organic vegetables from the kitchen garden. The result is a fantastic gastronomy in a restaurant with breathtaking views.

Events
The hotel has got several function rooms and areas to organise all kind of events.

Banquet hall: with capacity for 200 persons in banquet style layout. This venue has large windows which offer natural lighting and fantastic views.

Conference venue: with a capacity for 50 persons in classroom style layout. Ideal venue for conferences, lectures or exhibition.

Boutique venue: accommodates up to 20 guests in imperial table-style layout. This cosy room with natural lightning is the perfect one for meetings or special occasion gatherings.

Andalusian patio: This original, cosy and pretty part of the hotel is decorated with flowers and a little nice fountain. It has a capacity for 70 persons in banquet style layout and 120 persons in theatre style layout. It is also the right place for cocktails and receptions while enjoying nice views.
