Rosie Moore, 27 Miracles Wedding Consulting

In which year did you start your wedding planning business and which reasons made you start working in this job?
27 Miracles was started about 4 years ago. I had been planning weddings for about 10 years and had many friends tell me that I could plane weddings and parties and really should open my own business doing it, so we did.

Do you work alone or in a team?
We at 27 Miracles work as a team. Each wedding will have three people if it is a large wedding of 250 or more we will bring assistants accordingly. The reason is that the bride will have her own person attending to her as her own personal assistant. If I am the only there I cannot possibly keep my eye on everything going on. I am a bit of a perfectionist to get the client’s wished met.

In which languages can you take care of your customers?
I am bilingual in Spanish and English. I am Berlitz certified for Spanish translation.

What are the main regions where you are planning weddings?
We will plan a wedding anywhere the client requests.

What are your personal favorites regarding:
a) a location for a destination wedding in your home region?
In My home region of Florida my favorite place to do a destination wedding is Bella Collina, it has that old world feel. They do not have traditional ballrooms, so if it is a traditional place that the bride is looking form, this is not it. But if they want the beauty of the land, old world Europe and the finest of the finest in taste, beauty and service, then Bella Collina is the place.

b) a location for a destination wedding in the rest of the world?
I would say a destination wedding in The Riviera de Maya . They have Endless Privileges as opposed to what some people call “all inclusive.” They treat you with the utmost respect and take the time t know everyone by name.

c) a location for a wedding reception in your home region?
A wedding reception here in Orlando, Florida, I would have to say that although there are many Golf and Country Clubs, Hotels, Hall Rentals. One of the places that is very nice is the Citrus Club. It is a private member only location, however with a preferred wedding planner like ourselves we would be able to host the client’s wedding there. There ballroom sits on top of the 18th floor. The spectacular view of the downtown area at sunset is incredible. Now another location that is a favorite of ours if 27. It is a location in the Buena Vista Palace on top of the 27th floor and overlooks the Disney Properties and the fireworks if timed properly.

d) a location for a wedding reception in the rest of the world?
A wedding reception in Italy, particularly In Positano, they have beautiful locations there that overlook the water.

e) a country / region / hotel for a honeymoon?
A hotel for a Honeymoon I would have to say Paraiso de La Bonita in the Riviera de Maya. They have an endless privileges package that makes you never want to leave the island

Have you organized weddings for prominent people?
Due to client confidentiality, we are not able to release information of that kind. We do not have the rights to release photo or video. However we are less than a mile away from locations where prominent people have their private homes and we are able to do events there.

Have you organized weddings for couples from outside your country?
We are in the process of organizing a wedding for a couple that lives in a private island of Tulum

Which strengths of your company would you like to mention?
Our company is very strong in their follow through and customer service. We are a full service wedding company, specializing in boutique concierge type service for our most distinguished clients. We are a full service company. We offer creative event design of their entire wedding, themes if they like, dj , band and up lighting service, floral décor, rentals of specialty chairs, tables, linens. We are able to obtain any celebrity to perform at weddings or any local talent entertainment. We offer Officiant services and honeymoon travel as well as we are also licensed travel agents.

Could you tell us a little story about something special that you have experienced during your work as a wedding planner (maybe something funny or very amazing)?
Something amazing at a wedding, we had a bride that was marrying her true love after 20 years. They were married 20 years prior through city hall and decided that they would celebrate their love by having a wedding in their private Mansion in the exclusive town of Windermere. The bride had mentioned that everything was a dream and coming true, all she needed was for her prince to come in a horse and carriage to get her. I spoke with the groom and we arranged for this to happen. During the ceremony we had the song the Gift , being played and what happened was that their daughter delivered the rings as she got off the carriage and then after they were pronounced husband and wife, they rode in the carriage to have photos taken. The bride cried and was so happy to have her dream of riding in the carriage with her prince come true. The groom did not want to just come in it by himself, he wanted to whisk her away in it but wanted their 11 year old daughter to partake in it.
