In which year did you start your wedding planning business and which reasons made you start working in this job?
In year 2000 I started a Holiday Home Rental Agency and just by chance a lot of clients were also asking whether I knew of a catering, a priest, a florist, good musicians, etc... That coupled with the local knowledge of Tuscany having lived there\
for many years, made me also start Wedding planning in Tuscany.

Do you work alone or in a team?
I, Erica Bellini, started alone but then I was very lucky to find Nicoletta to work as a wedding planner.

In which languages can you take care of your customers?
English, Italian and German

What are the main regions where you are planning weddings?
Tuscany, Italy but we can also extend to Umbria and Marche in Italy.

What are your personal favourites regarding:
a) a location for a destination wedding in your home region?
I love Certaldo in Tuscany. It's an unspoilt Medieval hilltop town, an absolute gem with no traffic and very few tourists. A wedding in Certaldo is guaranteed to be a unique and unforgettable memory for the rest of your life.
b) a location for a destination wedding in the rest of the world?
A wedding on a Greek island with a breathtaking view of the coast in the backdrop.
c) a location for a wedding reception in your home region?
My favourite location is Villa Gambassi ( Link to photos: www.tuscan-dreams.com/wedding_property.asp?id=55&wed=true ) is a charming renaissance villa with lovely outdoors and elegant indoors in case of bad weather. I highly recommend this.
d) a location for a wedding reception in in the rest of the world?
A wedding on the Amalfi coast south of Italy is a truly special wedding location.
e) a country / region / hotel for a honeymoon?
The Carabbean still remains one of the most romantic places for a honeymoon.

Have you organised weddings for couples from outside your country?
We specialise in weddings in Tuscany for all English and German speakers so we have had all sorts of nationalities, you name it, from UK, Ireland, USA, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Dubai, Denmark, Norway.

Which strengths of your company would you like to mention?
Our personal touch - being a small company we really take good care of our couples and we are there from the very early stages of the planning to the actual wedding day. In fact we stay in touch and have become good friends of most of the couples who got married with us.

Could you tell us a little story about something special that you have experienced during your work as a wedding planner (maybe something funny or very amazing)?
An amazing departure of Bride and Groom: after having partied into the early hours of the morning, Bride and Groom left to the amazement of all guests with a HOT AIR BALLON that landed in the garden of the villa and took them away. Truly unforgettable for the couple and all their guests.
